We were tired of losing every space in the house to the dogs.

Couch, bed, the good chair. They took all of it. So we built something they'd actually choose instead.

They go everywhere. Then they need somewhere to land.

Ben's. Audits every sample. Hard to impress.

Kobe & Gigi

25 + 19 lb · Hermosa Beach

Mikey's. Permanent residents with tenure. Kobe sleeps diagonally. Gigi runs the place.

Two of us started this. The dogs were the reason.

Mikey was about to become a dad. The dogs were losing the couch for good, and nothing from the pet aisle deserved the room. So he decided to build the thing he couldn't buy.

He also knew he couldn't design it alone. It needed someone who could tell the difference between furniture and a pillow with walls. A good friend said, you should meet Ben.

Ben lives in Tahoe with Jack, 90 pounds of the same problem. He read the plan and joined. An early page of it says feels risky, might fail, worth trying.

The dogs rejected drafts we thought were finished. They were right, so we kept fixing it. The one we sell now is the one Jack picks over Ben's couch, and the one Kobe sleeps on diagonally while Gigi curls into whatever he leaves her.
